Drumming Circle
Hands drumming The weekly drumming circle is a very hands-on way to get more in touch with the rhythms running through your life. The circle provides a fun, supportive and meditative environment to connect with others in this most basic of communication methods.

The one hour sessions, Fridays at 5:30 p.m., include an opportunity to learn traditional drumming patterns as well as for improvisation.

The circle is facilitated by drummer John Giacchi and the Rev. Gwendolyn Howard. All are invited to join the circle. No previous musical experience is required, only the ability to try new things and risk getting lost in the rhythms. Participants are encouraged to bring their own drums or contact the facilitators (gwenhoward@gmail.com) for suggestions on where to purchase one.

The Lunch Bunch
Lunchbox with "The Lunch Bunch" written on itJoin the Lunch Bunch Wednesdays 12 to 1:30 p.m. for an informal discussion and sharing group using the book To Begin at the Beginning: An Introduction to the Christian Faith by Martin Copenhaver (Senior Pastor of Wellesley Congregational Church in Wellesley, MA).

The luncheon discussion will be coordinated by Rev. Edwards. Each week's discussion will be self-contained, so come for one, two or all as your schedule permits.

All are welcome. Participants are encouraged to register for the class (though not necessary) to ensure that enough books are ordered. Bring your lunch. Ice tea and lemonade will be provided. Sessions begin July 2nd and run through August 20th.

The Memoir Writing Group
This group generally meets the third Tuesday of each month. The next session is scheduled for May 20th at 4:30 p.m. Mary Ryder facilitates this group and lends encouragement and assistance to the writers, but most of all, the members encourage one another. Anyone interested in writing memoirs (or even family history) is welcome.
