What should I expect for Sunday Worship?

Picture
Where and when?
The Beneficent community gathers each Sunday morning at 10am to worship together in our historic Meeting House at 300 Weybosset Street (get directions).  Summer worship is held in the Round Top Center (also at 300 Weybosset).  Parking is available for free in our adjacent lot on Sunday mornings, though space is limited so you may wish to come a few minutes early.  Additionally, there is plenty of on-street parking available in front of the church on Weybosset and west on Chestnut (and street parking is free on Sundays!).

Usually, attendees arrive a few minutes before the service starts, especially if they wish to take their children to Sunday School or the nursery (learn more about kids programs).

What happens?
The worship service usually lasts about an hour.  We sing a few hymns together with our choir, listen to a message by Pastor Todd or Pastor Nicole, and take some time to pray together about the joys and concerns of our community.

Want to know more?
