God is Good All the Time!

Picture
On October 8, 2017, many of you participated in the Service of Installation where I was installed as the Associate Minister and Teacher at Beneficent Congregational Church, United Church of Christ. The power of God's love and amazing grace was truly present among us. I am thankful for all the gifts that I received, which are too numerous to mention.

Mary Ryder searched the Internet and found a cap embellished with one of my favorite quotes, "God is Good All the Time." The Deacons presented three stunning stoles. With each one being so unique, I couldn't help but to stop and wonder which one I was going to wear first. I received three cross necklaces. One was made of crystal, lavender, silver and gold. My mother spent time patiently coloring a Mandala design that was so uniquely mesmerizing that I used it as a meditative medallion when we parked and prayed at 1:11 pm.

The Certificate of Recognition and the commendable letter from Governor Gina Raimondo were a pleasant surprise. Her interest in and connection with our Park and Pray at 1:11 initiative served as an acknowledgement of our relationship and the ongoing work being done at Beneficent Congregational Church.

Although I received many gifts on that day, none compared with the gift of everyone’s presence. I am most thankful for the countless attendees who came to congregate and celebrate this historic event with their smiles and well wishes. A common thread of love, hope and desire for success was noticed immediately. Again, thank you for your prayers, hopes, and inspirational expressions of faith.

Truly, God is good! All the time! Amazing Grace shall be my song of praise!

Sincerely,
Pastor Cleo Darci Graham
